We are thrilled to introduce our brand new, authentic Chinese Restaurantopening soon in the heart of historic and beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake. Specializing in authentic Chinese cuisine, including Szechuan and Dim Sum, this restaurant will be sure to offer an experience like no other.

We are seeking a Chef de Partie to help lead and inspire our Kitchen team! This is a permanent, full-time, year-round position that comes with a number of perks, including:

Responsibilities:

Includes, but is not limited to:

3-4 years experience working in a Chinese dining facility preparing dim sum, szechuan, and other Chinese specialties.
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, filleting fish, or preparing soup, stock and sauces)
Cooking and preparing menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team.
Answer, report and follow Executive Chef’s instructions.
Clean up station.
Stock inventory appropriately.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Comply with Company regulations and determined safety standards.
Directs team activities in absence of Executive Chef
All other duties as assigned.
Good decision-making ability and above average oral communication skills
Good safety training and/or knowledge required
Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate an asset
